Golden Horse Race Rules
Golden Horse Race rules: 6 horses, odds, placing bets, the race, payouts, bet limits and fair play.
Golden Horse Race is a live race game with 6 horses. Races start automatically at set intervals and all players watch the same race at the same time. During the betting time before every race you see the horses' odds and bet on one or more horses. It is played with the same account and the same balance as 101 Okey; every race is computed on the server.
How to play
- Every race has three parts: bets open (20 seconds, with a countdown on screen), the race (8 seconds) and the result (6 seconds); then a new race begins.
- While bets are open, choose an amount and tap a horse: the bet is placed at once and leaves your balance (tapping the same horse again adds to it). Clear refunds your bets in that race while bets are open. When the countdown ends, bets close.
- Most bets per race: 3 (each horse or each bet you send counts as one; after Clear refunds them, the allowance resets).
- If the winning horse is one you bet on, win = the bet on that horse × its odds; it is credited at the result (even if you have closed the page).
- When the live race is turned off by the operator, every player runs their own race instantly with Start Race; the odds, bet and payout rules are the same.
Odds
- In every race the horses' winning probabilities are set with the provably fair seed; the odds shown are computed from that probability (low probability = high odds, up to 25x).
- Odds are shown BEFORE you bet and do not change during that race. The maximum payout of one race is 2,000,000.
Bet limits
- The total bet of a race is at least 10 and at most 5,000; every bet is a multiple of 10.
- The bet leaves your balance the moment it is placed; the win is credited at the result.
Fair play
- Payouts are distributed fairly: odds come from probability, there is no hidden deduction.
- In live races the winner and the odds are determined with the day's provably fair key (HMAC-SHA256), before and independent of all bets, and are the same for everyone. The key's fingerprint is shown all day; the key itself is revealed the next day so you can verify past races yourself.
- In the instant race (when the live race is off) a server seed + client seed are used; when you rotate the seeds the old server seed is revealed.
- You can bet in only one game at a time; while you have a bet in a live race you cannot switch games until the race ends.
- In case of malfunction all pays and plays are void.
