Blackjack Rules
Blackjack rules: card values, dealer, moves (hit, stand, double, split), payouts, return to player and fair play.
Blackjack (21) is the classic card game played against the dealer. The aim is to make a hand higher than the dealer's without going over 21. It is played with the same account and the same balance as 101 Okey; every hand is dealt on the server.
Card values
- 2–10 count their face value; jack, queen, king count 10.
- Ace counts 11; if the hand would go over 21 it counts 1 (a "soft" hand).
- 21 with the first two cards (ace + ten-value card) is a blackjack and pays 3:2.
How to play
- Pick a chip or type your bet and press DEAL. You get two face-up cards, the dealer one face-up and one face-down card.
- HIT: one more card. If you go over 21 the hand busts and the bet is lost.
- STAND: keep your hand; the dealer plays.
- DOUBLE: only with the first two cards; the bet is placed again, you get one card and the hand ends.
- SPLIT: if the first two cards have the same value the hand is split in two and the bet is placed again for the second hand; each hand is played separately (one split only; split aces get one card each).
- The dealer stands on all 17s (including soft 17) and draws on 16 or less. The dealer reveals the face-down card when you are done.
Payouts
- Blackjack: 3 to 2 (100 bet → 250 returned)
- Win: 1 to 1 (100 bet → 200 returned)
- Push (equal hands): the bet is returned
- If both you and the dealer have blackjack it is a push. A 21 on a split hand is a normal 21, not a blackjack.
Bet limits
- The first bet of a hand is at least 10 and at most 5,000; bets are multiples of 10. Doubling and splitting need the bet amount in your balance.
- The bet is taken from your balance when the cards are dealt; the win (including your bet) is added when the hand ends. An unfinished hand continues where you left it when you return.
Fair play and payouts
- Fair payouts: the shoe is shuffled with a provably fair key every hand and can be verified; the Provably fair window in the game shows how. A push always returns the bet.
- For every hand a 6-deck shoe is shuffled with provably fair seeds (HMAC-SHA256), independent of your bet and your moves. The next card is fixed in advance; hitting cannot change the outcome. The server seed hash is shown in advance; when you rotate the seeds the old server seed is revealed and you can verify your past hands yourself.
- You can bet in only one game at a time.
- In case of malfunction all pays and plays are void.
